I used this CD-R for all kinds of purposes. Backing up my data, creating audio CD, creating VCD compliant media, etc. So far I got a high success rate, only a few of them became toast. I also like the simple silver color of the media as opposed to other colors, so it looks like any commercial CDs. Recommended and will buy again.

I have burned over 30 disks so far and no coasters to date. I have used many other brands such as Sony, Maxell, Fujifilm, TDK, Memorex and I can say that Phillips ranks real high among the competition. I am planning of buying another spindle since many of my friends are asking me for some blank disks and I am running out!

Only used a few discs and have not had any problems. Even gave them to other people to use and did not hear any complaints. Got it for an especially good price for the quantity and that made me interested to see if it was any good.
